Linux Mint
Nowadays recommended for beginners getting into Linux, instead of Ubuntu. Windows users will have a better experience using Linux Mint than Windows. Use cases for normal users are all covered in Linux Mint

Debian
A very stable distribution with tons of software packages (some are old though!). Suitable for installing as a normal workstation or a server

RHEL/CentOS/Rocky Linux
A very good server operating system, RHEL requires a large payment of 10,000 gold shekels via pack mules to get a license from Red Hat. CentOS/Rocky Linux is basically the same, but without Red Hat's customer service.
